The vertical opening tambour system offers many advantages for design variation. Shutter widths of upto 1500mm and heights upto 2500mm are possible through a constantly developing range of extrusions in polymer, steel or aluminium.

A complementary range range of moulded channels allow for fitting into all types of cabinet finish both surface and flush mounted and a choice of practical and stylish handles and locking mechanisms can be easily incorporated. A complete spring assisted system allows for larger shutter doors to be constantly balanced at  variable heights.

The Waivis tambour cassette shutter (shown above) is a totally self contained pre-tensioned unit which just snaps into position.  Ideally suited to the 'flat pack' market, this concept drastically reduces fitting times and brings an end to the all to common problem of spring damage due to over charging. 

The Waivis cassette can be tailor made to your given cabinet size and even allows for fine adjustment in situ through an ingenious spindle lock device that makes the cassette shutter far and away the most consumer friendly product of its type for todays self-assembly market.

If you require added security there is also a choice of either plain or anodised aluminium to choose from.
